Description: Talented and very well trained gelding, Blaze is a registered half-Arabian (3/4 Arabian in breeding), chestnut with star, stripe, & snip. This elegant gelding is a sight to see, a stunning beauty sure to draw every eye as he goes by! Standing at 15.2h, his lines are amazingly correct: a pretty chiseled head & ears, graceful, long neck, perfect sloping shoulders and he moves with such style that he makes everyone take notice. He sets up in the bridle and carries himself like a bold champion.
Certified Parelli Level 2, he can do Level 3 under saddle and Level 4 skills On-line & Liberty. If you want to do Parelli, he can take you there. Prefer showing? He won English & Western show/futurity as a youngster. He has an air of pride and confidence that's a pleasure to watch, but even better to ride. He is upright and very showy, he has that show-ring presence. This lovely gelding will never blend in with the crowd.
Blaze hauls and trail rides anywhere, competitive trail trials or just for pleasure. I've used him in my clinics as a demo horse and as a mount for the State Sanctioned Trail Trial Senior Judge. Big and friendly, he is NOT dominant and gets along great with other mares and geldings. He loves the trails and will go where you point his nose. He is used to the most rugged terrain of northern California, and can be ridden in a halter, or even bridleless if you know how. He rides alone with no fuss and with other horses as well. He has all the qualities you look for in a great horse. Desensitized to hikers, dogs, ATV's, tarps, poultry; goes thru water, swims, clips, good with farrier and vet. |
